Hello! I'm Fern!
My dad is The Brigadier and he says I'm the smallest of the family.
I don't mind.
It just means there's more room for everyone else to cuddle me!
I luuuv flowers, soft moss and quiet little corners of the woodland where butterflies dance and bees hum gently from flower to flower.
Some people think you have to be big to do important things.
I don't.
I think kindness is one of the biggest things anyone can have.
Mum often says I have a gentle heart, and I try to make everyone smile, whether it's by sharing a flower, helping a friend or simply sitting beside someone who feels a little lonely.
And she say that my giggle is infectious, but I'm not sure what that means, anyway, it make my mum laugh, then I giggle even more.
My favourite walks are the slow ones, where I can stop to admire every pretty flower, watch the ladybirds climbing the leaves and listen to the birds singing high above me.
The woodland is full of tiny treasures.
You just have to slow down long enough to notice them.
